Quality Assurance

Every heater is checked at seven stages — from incoming raw material to outbound packing — before it leaves our facility.

Our Process

Quality Control Checkpoints

Every heater moves through these seven gates in order — raw material in, tested and packed product out.

1

Incoming Material Inspection

  • Verify Material Test Certificates (MTC)
  • Check heater sheath material grade (SS304, SS316, Incoloy, etc.)
  • Confirm tube OD, wall thickness, and length
  • Check terminal pins, ceramic beads, insulation, and cables
  • Visual inspection for dents, rust, or damage
2

In-Process Inspection

  • Check heating element resistance value
  • Verify coil winding pitch and uniformity
  • Inspect MgO powder filling density (if applicable)
  • Check swaging/reduction dimensions
  • Verify straightness of the heater
  • Check brazing/welding quality
  • Ensure proper terminal assembly
  • Verify dimensions against the drawing
3

Welding Inspection

  • Visual inspection (no cracks, porosity, undercut, or incomplete fusion)
  • Weld size and profile as per drawing
  • Dye Penetrant Test (DPT), if specified
  • Leak test for welded joints
4

Electrical Testing

  • Resistance test
  • Insulation Resistance (IR) test (typically ≥100 MΩ at 500 V DC)
  • High Voltage (Hipot) test
  • Earth continuity test
  • Power consumption verification
  • Current measurement
5

Performance Test

  • Voltage and current check
  • Wattage output within tolerance (typically ±5% or customer specification)
  • Surface temperature measurement
  • Heating time verification
6

Final Inspection

  • Overall dimensions
  • Thread/flange size
  • Identification marking
  • Cable length and termination
  • Visual finish and cleanliness
7

Packing Inspection

  • Product cleaned and protected
  • Test certificate included
  • Correct labeling
  • Safe packing to prevent transit damage
